Will your dog take on our Doggy Olympics?

With the Tokyo Olympics cancelled, this August we are challenging your dog to give us a summer of sport and take on its own Olympic challenge while fundraising to transform lives! They will need to complete 6 or more events.

You can choose the challenges and we have some ideas for you too:

Event 1: The Doggy dash - 100m sprint – what’s your dogs top speed?
Event 2: The Long splash - long jump into a paddling pool
Event 3: The High Hoop jump - jump through a hoop or a hoop made with your arms
Event 4: The Slipper relay - fetch several items like your slippers from one room to another!
Event 5: The Steeple chase – a long walk over land and puddles
Event 6: The Hurdles – Run and jump over a series of obstacles
Event 7: The Huggy throw – throw a cuddly toy as far as you can for your dog-lympian to catch

 How to join

Register your details below and pay your £10 registration fee.

We then ask you to raise sponsorship from friends and family for your dog to take on this summer challenge.

As your dog takes part we’d love to see photo or videos and you can send these updates on your fundraising page to share them with us and friends.

What do you get?

All entrants receive a Support Dogs t-shirt, fundraising pack as well as a bag of goodies for your
dog-lympian hero. There will also be special goodies for those who go that extra mile with their fundraising

Why does my dog get all the fun?

Don’t worry any humans wanting to dress up in a dog oufit and take on the challenge, can do by signing up here https://www.supportdogs.org.uk/Event/support-dogs-dogsuit-olympics

Why should I join?

Covid-19 has had a massive impact on everyone. The families our charity supports are those with health conditions that mean they are among the most at risk from Covid-19. We are working hard to provide more support than ever through this emergency.

Our work is vital. It saves lives and it also saves the NHS over £19million a year. Yet we rely entirely, 100% on voluntary donations.

The last few months have brought unique challenges to all our lives. Our charity has been operating for almost 30 years but have never had to carry out our life-saving work in an environment as difficult as this.

Despite the current challenges, we are dedicated to continuing to maintain our services in anyway we can, but as a small charity this is only possible thanks to the wonderful help of our dedicated volunteers and supporters.
