Support Dogs are thrilled to be teaming up with Monty Don for a very special auction to save and improve lives this winter.

Monty Don, the UK’s leading gardening writer and broadcaster is exclusively offering an opportunity for you to win one of just 20 uniquely signed and personally dedicated copies of his latest book 'My Garden World'.

Monty explains: “I have spent my entire life in the company of dogs and am endlessly fascinated by the depth and sensitivity of their interactions with humans through body language and especially, of course, through their power of scent.  I am very glad for this opportunity to raise some money  to contribute to the superb work that is already being done and to aid the further research in the ways that dogs can help detect, protect and aid so many kinds of illnesses and conditions. Please be as generous as you possibly can to assist the fantastic work being done by Support Dogs." 

Support Dogs relies 100% on voluntary donations and their income has dropped by over 40% due to cancellation of fundraising activities this year. A bid of even a £100 would pay for the annual health care checks for a working support dog. 

The auction begins at 8am on Tuesday and bids for the 20 books are accepted until 9pm on Sunday 13 December. We will then contact the winner to discuss the dedication they would like Monty to write by hand in the book. 

Once the auction ends we will contact the winners to discuss the dedication they would like Monty to inscribe in the book. We will endeavour to ensure delivery to the winner in time for Christmas, to make this a wonderful and unique Christmas gift for you or someone special in your life.

My Garden World is published by Two Roads.

All proceed raised through the auction will be used to support the charity's life saving work for people like Brogan, who has epilepsy and as you will see from the film below is support by her seizure alert dog Wadsley
